NTC, EIC Volleyball Teams Named

The National Trail All-Conference Volleyball Team was named for the 2015 season.

Honored with First Team status were Autumn Benneft (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg), who also was named Most Valuable Player, Gabi Moore (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Megan Schlechte (Windsor/Stew-Stras), Emily Chapman (South Central), Jenna Woltman (Effingham St. Anthony), Sarah Maxey (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Deidra Schaal (South Central) and Nikki Miah (Neoga).

Second Team honorees were Mikayla Winters (Dieterich), Lily Laatsch (Altamont), Emily Bone (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Taylor Dammerman (St. Anthony), Marci Mills (St. Anthony), Leah Kelly (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Becca Schlechte (Windsor/Stew-Stras) and Kenzi Tabbert (Windsor/Stew-Stras).

Honorable Mention went to Skylar Morrison (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Lauren Romack (Neoga), Isabel Moore (St. Anthony), Hannah Will (St. Anthony), Kendall Burleyson (South Central), Hannah Rubin (South Central) and Carson Cole (Windsor/Stew-Stras).

 

Named to the Egyptian-Illini All-Conference volleyball teams were:

First Team -- Gabi Moore (St. Elmo/Brownstown), who was also named the Most Valuable Player, Leah Kelly (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Corinne DeBoard (Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran), Sarah Maxey (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Emily Bone (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Hope Brinkman (Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran) and Jaelyn Cain (Patoka).

Second Team -- Alexa Smithson (Ramsey), Mollie Rueter (Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran), Sidney Harnetiaux (Mulberry Grove), Skye Kimberlin (Ramsey), Skylar Morrison (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City) and Elizabeth Hettich (Patoka).

Honorable Mention -- Taylor Schaubert (Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran), Felicia Johnson (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Jade Heiserman (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Jenna Cobb (Patoka), Brandi Howard (St. Elmo/Brownstown) and Kandice Beshel (St. Elmo/Brownstown).
