Volleyball Regional Championship Matches Scheduled Tonight

St. Anthony and Effingham are among the teams playing for a volleyball regional championship tonight.
The Bulldogs will take on Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 6 p.m. in the Class 1A Neoga Regional while the Hearts will square off against Mabomet-Seymour at 6 p.m. in the Class 3A Decatur Eisenhower Regional.
Whoever wins between St. Anthony and Windsor/Stew-Stras will advance to the Decatur Lutheran Sectional Tuesday, taking on the winner of the Danville Schlarman Regional at 6 p.m.
If the Hearts beat Mahomet-Seymour, they will advance to the Rochester Sectional Tuesday against the winner of the Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin Regional with match time at 6 p.m.
South Central has the home team advantage in its own Class 1A Regional. The Cougars will face Cisne at 6 p.m. The champion advances to the St. Elmo/Brownstown Sectional and will play the second match Tuesday at 7 p.m. against the winner of the Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Regional.
In the Class 1A Oblong Regional, St. Elmo/Brownstown will go up against Clay City at 6 p.m. The winner squares off against the winner of the Edwardsville Metro-East Lutheran Regional at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Elmo/Brownstown Sectional.
Teutopolis, playing in its first-ever volleyball regional championship match in the school's history, will take on Shelbyville at 6 p.m. for the title of the Class 2A Cumberland Regional. The regional champion advances to the Shelbyville Sectional against the winner of the Carlinvillel Regional Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Newton will face Robinson in its own Class 2A regional tonight. The Eagles will square off against the Maroons at 6 p.m. Newton or Robinson will then advance to the Shelbyville Sectional Tuesday at 7 p.m. against the winner of the Pana Regional.
