PATOKA -- Effingham St. Anthony High School claimed a non-conference volleyball victory over Patoka Thursday, 25-14, 25-15.
The Bulldogs were led by Taylor Dammerman with 10 digs, Jenna Woltman with 16 assists and five kills, Hannah Will and Marci Mills with five kills each and Mills led in aces with six.
St. Anthony also nabbed the junior varsity match 25-8, 25-14.

Mount Zion handed Effingham a 25-15, 25-19 loss. The Hearts dropped to 2-1 in the Apollo Conference and 7-9 overall.
Chandler Ramey led in kills with 12 and digs with eight. Sidney Webster had nine assists. Shelby Nunamaker had five blocks.
In junior varsity action, Mount Zion was a 25-19, 25-16 winner. Effingham won a freshman/sophomore contest 25-23, 13-25, 10-5.

South Central picked up a victory over North Clay (Louisville). North Clay won the opener 25-23 but South Central came back with 25-19, 25-7 counts to improve to 15-2.
Hannah Rubin had 21 points and three aces while Kendal Burleyson had 13 points, seven aces and 21 assists. Deidra Schaal led in kills with 13.
The Cougars also claimed the junior varsity match 25-17, 25-19 to improve to 7-2. The freshmen/sophomores won 25-17, 25-21 and are 1-2-2.

Teutopolis won in both varsity and junior varsity competition Thursday.
The Wooden Shoes claimed the varsity contest over Cisne 25-16, 25-18. In JV play, T-town won 25-18, 27-25.
"The varsity took care of business tonight," said T-town Coach Tim Mills. "They misfired on a few attacks early in set one but once they got warmed up, they were pretty unstoppable."
