Hearts Suffer Two Defeats Friday at Crossroads Classic

The Effingham Hearts suffered two losses in Friday action at the Crossroads Classic Volleyball Tournament.

Effingham lost to Belleville Althoff, 13-25, 25-22, 18-25. The Hearts then lost to Wheaton St. Francis, 9-25, 15-25.

Here are the numbers for the Hearts individually:

Kaitlyn Baker--two kills and one ace

Micaela Chrappa--one kill, eight digs

Jennifer Fred--one kill, two aces, six digs

Victoria Garren--seven digs

Chloe Martin--four kills, one block, one dig

Shelby Nunamaker--eight kills, two assists, two digs

Hannah Pike--three kills, nine assists, one block, six digs

Chandler Ramey--12 kills, three aces, one block, eight digs

Sidney Webster--three kills, 14 assists, three digs

Effingham was 2-2 on the season heading into Saturday morning action at the tournament.
