Effingham Sacred Heart finished in sixth place in the National Trail Conference Seventh-Grade Volleyball Tournament Saturday.
Sacred Heart fell to Cowden-Herrick 25-12, 25-23 in the opener. The Shamrocks dropped into the consolation bracket and defeated Dieterich 25-23, 27-25. The Shamrocks then played St. Elmo/Brownstown for the consolation championship and lost 25-23, 25-23.

Charleston Tournament
Effingham St. Anthony competed in the Charleston Seventh-Grade Tournament. The Bullpups won their opener over host Charleston 25-14, 25-17.
St. Anthony then defeated Tri-County 25-19, 25-16 in the second match. Teutopolis then downed St. Anthony 25-12, 18-25, 15-13.
