Effingham Sacred Heart picked up two victories over Neoga in junior high school volleyball competition Thursday evening.
In seventh-grade play, Neoga won the opener 25-16. Sacred Heart came back with two straight wins, 25-20, 25-20 for the victory. The Shamrocks are now 6-3 on the season.
The Shamrocks improved to 7-2 with a 25-15, 25-1 win in the eighth-grade match.
Neoga won in fifth-grade 15-5, 16-14. Sacred Heart drops to 4-1-2.
