South Central Beats Patoka in Volleyball

PATOKA -- South Central claimed a non-conference victory over Patoka in volleyball competition Wednesday evening.
The Cougars won 25-13, 25-15 to improve to 17-14 on the season. Maria Brasel led the winners in kills with 12 and had three blocks. Emily Chapman had 17 assists, seven points and three aces. Deidra Schaal led in points with 14 and had six aces.
The junior varsity squad won 25-15, 25-19. The Cougars also won the freshman/sophomore contest.
