EHS Fourth at Shelbyville Tourney

SHELBYVILLE -- Effingham High School's volleyball team finished fourth in the Shelbyville Tournament Saturday.
Shelbyville won its own tourney followed by Champaign St. Thomas More, Rochester and Effingham in the top four. The Hearts beat Stewardson-Strasburg 25-21, 25-21 before losing to the host squad 25-13, 25-13. EHS then beat Nokomis 25-21, 25-15 before losing to St. Thomas More 25-23, 26-24. The Hearts then fell to Rochester 25-20, 25-14.
EHS is now 9-10 on the season. Shelby Nunamaker made the All-Tournament Team.
