DIETERICH -- Effingham St. Anthony Higih School came calling and picked up a National Trail Conference volleyball win over Dieterich Monday evening.

The Bulldogs won 25-11, 25-12. Aly Esker and Megan Nuxoll had six digs each. Jena Woltman led in assists with 25. Logan Braunecker had 13 kills. Rachel Schutz had two aces.

The Maroons were led by Hannah Hunzinger and Mikayla Winters with two points each. Katlyn Lane had three digs. Winters and Emilee Flach led in kills with two each. Hunzinger had four assists.

Dieterich was a winner in the junior varsity match 19-25, 25-23, 25-17. St. Anthony won the freshman/sophomore match 25-19, 25-10.

At Farina

South Central downed Beecher City in a National Trail Conference matchup, 25-5, 25-7.

The Cougars were led by Maria Brasel with 10 kills, 10 assists, two blocks and five points. Deedra  Schaal led in points with 10 and had three digs. The Cougars are 4-4 in the conference, 12-11 overall.

South Central also nabbed the junoir varsity match 25-17, 25-12.

At Farina

At  Windsor

Windsor picked up a non-conference win over Sullivan. Sullivan won the opener 25-23 but Windsor came back with 27-25, 25-20 victories.

Claire Pfeiffer had 32 assists while Bayleigh Tabor had 12 digs and Autumn Bennett 12 kills. The Blue Devils are now 17-5 on the season.

Windsor won the junior varsity match, no score was listed.
