Dieterich Downs Oblong, C-W Beats Cumberland

OBLONG -- Dieterich High School handed Oblong a loss in two games, 25-21, 28-26. The victory was the first of the young season for the Movin' Maroons Monday evening.
Emilee Flach tallied 11 points and had four aces. Katlyn Lane led in digs with four. Mallorie Vahling put down five kills. Hannah Hunzinger led in assists with 11. Mikayla Winters had three blocks.

Casey-Westfield traveled to the Pirates of Cumberland and picked up a victory, 25-6, 27-25.
Tiarra Black tallied seven kills for the winners while Macie Grafton had 14 digs. Maleah Neal had 10 assists as did Tia Biggs. The Warriors improve to 3-3 on the season.
Cumberland was led by Lainey Jackson with four kills. Jenna McMechan had 15 digs. The Pirates drop to 1-7 on the season.
Casey-Westfield also claimed the junior varsity match 25-19, 25-20.
