Cumberland Second At W-L Cardinal Boys Track Invite

WARRENSBURG -- Cumberland High School claimed second place at the First Annual Warrensburg-Latham Cardinal Boys Track Invitational Saturday.

Williamsville won the meet with 173.5 points followed by Cumberland 84, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hamond 76, Decatur St. Teresa 69, New Berlin 53.5, Argenta-Oreana 29, Warrensburg-Latham and Bethany Okaw Valley  7.

The Pirates' Logan Gerhardt was a winner in the 300 hurdles with a time of 50.22 seconds.

Cumberland got six second place finishes. Reid Carlen placed second in the 100 in 11.05 seconds and was second in the 200 in 23.19 and third in the 1600 in 4:59.72.. Cameron Roedl took second in the 800 in 2:11.00 minutes. Riley Morgan was second in the 3200 run in 11:11.34 minutes.

The 1600 relay team took second in 3:47.28 minutes.
