EHS, T-town Compete at Robinson JV Boys Track Meet

ROBINSON -- Effingham placed third and Teutopolis fourth at the Robinson Junior Varsity Boys Track Meet Monday.

Robinson won the meet with 87 points followed by Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville 71, Effingham 70, Teutopoils 18 and Olney Richland County 14.

The Hearts had three first place finishes in the meet. Andrew Lotz captured the 300 hurdles with a time fo 48.7 seconds while teammate Hayden Wendling was second at 52.9.

John Westendorf was a winner in the discus with a throw of 114 feet, 4 inches.

Gunnar Heil won the long jump with a leap of 14 feet, 8 1/2 inches.

Teutopolis' Anthony Roley won the shot with a throw of 37 feet, 7 1/2 inches.
