T-town Girls Do Well at Top Times Track Championships

BLOOMINGTON -- Teutopolis, St. Anthony, Newton and Brownstown/St. Elmo had competitors entered in the Illinois Top Times Track Championships Friday.

T-town's Kaitlyn Vahling had two top five finishes. She took second in the 60 meter dash in 7.96 seconds and third in the 200 in 26.43.

St. Anthony's Allison Geen placed fourth in the pole vault at 3.35 meters.

The Bulldogs' 3200 relay team of Conlan Walsh, Julius Ramos, Giovanni Bucio and Griffen Elder finished fifth in 8:31.26 min.

Newton's 800 Relay placed fourth. Members of team included Addyson O'Dell, Sydney Kinder, Morgan Schafer and Laney Hemrich in 1:52.01 min.

Other Newton competitiors finishing in the top five were Parker Wolfe fourth in the 400 in 51.66 seconds and the 3200 relay team of Owen Mahaffey, Luis Zavala, Nicholas Shamhart and Luke Weber fourth in 8:28.75.
