Hearts Finish Fourth at Annies Track Invitational

The Effingham High School girls track team finished fourth at the Centralia Annies Track Invitational Tuesday.

The Hearts captured a first place finish in the 1600 relay with a time of 4:37.18 minutes and finished second in the 400 relay in 55.05 seconds. EHS took third in the 800 relay in 1:57.89.

Shelby Rieman captured a second place finish in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 10 inches while teammate Krista Phillips took fourth at 4-8.

Audrey Wagoner finished third in the 3200 in 15:13 minutes while teammates Phillips was third in 15:14 and Gracie Eaton fifth in 16:30.

Rylea Hodge took second in the 100 hurdles in 20.09 seconds and third in the 300 hurdles in 1:01.01. Teammate Taylor Greene was third in 20.71 in the 100 hurdles. Kiley Weaver was third in the 400 in 1:07.64.

Nashville won the team title with 141 points followed by Centralia 121, Belleville Althoff 87, Efifngham 81, Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran 54, Breese Mater Dei 11 and Webber Township (Bluford) 10.
