Cramsey Reaches 2A Finals at State Meet

Effingham High School's Clayton Cramsey reached the 2A finals of the state boys track and field meet at Charleston Friday.

Cramsey qualified in the 400 meter run with a time of 51.19 seconds.

He was the lone EHS boy to reach the state meet this year.

Cramsey will compete in the 2A finals Saturday. Meanwhile, four area boys will compete in the 1A finals Saturday; Joe Kingery of Teutopolis and Jared Kollman of Altamont in the discus, Jack Elder of St. Anthony in the 300 meter hurdles, and Tim Moore of Altamont in the pole vault.
