Sarah Carr Signs w/EIU

St. Anthony High School senior Sarah Carr has signed a national letter of intent to compete in cross country and track at Eastern Illinois University.

The signing ceremony took place Monday.

The daughter of Craig and Amy Carr, Sarah said she really liked the coach, the campus and the closeness to home as factors that led her to sign with Eastern. She said she'd likely concentrate on distance running during track season, although she's had considerable success in the 800 in high school.
