T-town Wins Boys, Girls Quadrangulars

Teutopolis High School won a boys and a girls quadrangular track meet Friday.

T-town won the boys meet with 105 points followed by Neoga 68, St. Anthony 64 and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 25.

The Wooden Shoes captured first place in five of the six field events. Jacob Reisner won the shot with a throw of 42 feet while Joe Kingery claimed the discus at 144-7 1/2. Seth Emmerich won the long jump at 19-1 3/4 and Paul Esker claimed the high jump. Jason Kowalski captured the pole vault at 13 feet.

T-town won the 400 relay in 47.99 seconds and the 800 relay in 1:39.53 minutes.

St. Anthony had four victories. The 1600 relay team won in 3:53.21. Tegeler won the 800 in 2:12.7 minutes while Willenborg claimed the 400 in 55.8 and Dust won the 1600 in 4:56.41.

Neoga also won four times. The Indians took the 3200 relay in 9:02.04. Johnson won the 3200 in 10:33.44. Eaton claimed the 300 hurdles in 47.47 and Fletcher won the 200 in 23.63.

Individually, Windsor/Stew-Stras' Howard won the 110 hurdles in18.08. and Bridges claimed the 100 in 11.77.

In the girls meet, T-town won with 121 points followed by St. Anthony 57, Neoga 34 and Windsor/Stew-Stras 0.

The Shoes won 11 of the 18 events. Rachel Buening claimed the shot with a throw of 27-9 3/4. Claire Bushur took the discus at 137-5. Micah McWhorter claimed the high jump at 5-0 and the pole vault at 10-0.

Ashley Bressendorf won the 3200 in 16:45.33. Runde was a winner in the 1600 in 5:48.65. Morgan Mette claimed the 400 in 1:00.82 and Habing was a winner in the 300 hurdles in 51.25.

The Shoes won the 1600 relay in 4:18.24, took the 3200 relay in 10:04.04 and won the 400 relay in 54.11.

Windsor/Stew-Stras' Whitney Smith was a four event winner taking the long jump 16-2 3/4 and the triple jump at 33-6 1/2. She also claimed the 100 in 12.84 and the 200 in 27.17.

St. Anthony's Carr won the 800 in 2:27.45 mintues. The Bulldogs also claimed the 800 relay in 1:57.49.

Neoga's Kepp won the 110 hurdles in 16.25.
