Michl Selected To NCAA Division III Track Championships

Millikin University senior Jamie Michl (Newton, H.S.) was selected to the field for the 2016 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships to be held May 26-28 at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

Michl will compete in the 800 Meters prelims on Friday, May 27 at 6 p.m.  The finals in the Women’s 800 Meters are set for Saturday, May 28 at 3 p.m.

Michl earned her way into the field on May 19 at the Gregory Invite at North Central College when she ran the 800 Meters in 2:10.15, setting a new Millikin school record.  Michl’s time was the 10th fastest in NCAA Division III this season.
