Three Area State Champs at AA Junior High Meet

Three area athletes were crowned state champions at the State AA Junior High Track and Field Meet over the weekend.

In the seventh grade boys competition, Tristin Duncan of Effingham Junior High won the long jump Friday at 19 feet, 7-1/2 inches. He eclipsed his own school record of 19 feet, 2 inches.

In the eighth grade girls competition, Claire Bushur of Teutopolis won the shot put Friday at 37' 5". 

In the seventh grade boys competition, Evan Addis of Teutopolis won the high jump Saturday, going 5' 10".

4X400 Meter Relay--Logan Arend, Clayton Cramsey, Cameron Kalber and Zeel Patel of Effingham 10th, 3:48.52, broke their own school record of 3:54.9

EIGHTH-GRADE GIRLS

4X100 Meter Relay--Macy Andrews, Claire Carr, Josie Grunloh and Brooklyn Herman of Jasper County 20th, 53.78
