Kelsey Cramsey Claims 800 Meters for University of Louisville

In the final home meet of the season, the University of Louisville Cardinals posted 11 wins at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational at Cardinal Park.
The Cardinal distance runners had a strong weekend as they swept both 1500m and 3000m events. Kelsey Cramsey, former state champion in Illinois in the 800 meters and now a senior at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, ran to victory in the 1500 Meter run for the Cardinals. Edwin Kibichiy set a new meet record in his win in the event.
Cramsey, the daughter of Lee and Kathy Cramsey, is majoring in chemistry with a concentraton in pre-medicine. She has competed in track and cross country at Louisville. Her career bests include:
Cross Country -- 5k - 17:52.81; 6 k - 22:08.26
Indoor -- 600m - 1:33.25; 800m - 2:10.42; 1000m - 2:56.21; Mile - 5:01.22
Outdoor -- 200m - 26.55; 400m - 55.61; 800m - 2:08.27; 1500m - 4:35.53
