Stew-Stras, CHBC Compete in Girls Track Sectional

Stewardson-Strasburg and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City athletes competed in the Class A Tuscola Girls Track Sectional Wednesday but none advanced to the state meet.

Decatur St. Teresa won the team championship with 124 points followed by Moweaqua Central A&M 109, Pana 105, Warrensburg-Latham 73, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 37, Williamsville 35, Tuscola 23, Athens 16, Macon Meridian 12, Shelbyville 11, Arcola 9, Stewardson-Strasburg 4 and CHBC 0.

The top two finishes and any meeting qualifying standards advance to the Class A State Track Meet May 20-21.
