St. Anthony Boys, Girls Compete at Tuscola Open

St. Anthony's boys and girls track teams competed Friday at the Tuscola Open.

St. Anthony finished 10th in the boys meet and third and in the girls meet.

On the girls' side, St. Anthony got first place finishes from Anna Sophia Keller in the 800 meter run in 2:19.47 and in the 1600 meter run in 5:01.29. Kristin Slaughter also got a first in the pole vault, going 11 feet. St. Anthony also won the 4X100 meter relay inn 52.94. 

There were no first place finishes by St. Anthony in the boys' event.

As far as area athletes, Trevor Beard of Cumberland won the boys' triple jump, going 42 feet, 9-1/2 inches. Dillon Howard of Cumberland won the 400 meter dash in 51.38.
