Final Results at the 2A Junior High State Track Meet

Final results are in from the 2A Junior High State Track Meet at Eastside Centre in East Peoria.

Dalton Greene of Effingham finished 24th and Dawson Whitten of Effingham finished 25th in the 7th Grade Boys pole vault. Also in the 7th grade boys competition, Clayton Cramsey of Effingham tied for 10th in the high jump and finished 24th in the 200 meter dash, and the Effingham 4X200 meter relay team finished 16th.

Kendall Ballman of Effingham finished 23rd in the prelims in the 8th Grade Boys 110 meter hurdles. Also in 8th grade boys competition, Zach Lee of Effingham finished 38th in the prelims in the 100 meter dash, and the Effingham 4X200 meter relay team finished 20th.

Emma Budde of Effingham did not advance in the 7th Grade Girls high jump, and Josie Grunloh of Jasper County finished 36th in the prelims in the 7th Grade Girls 100 meter dash. Also in the 7th grade girls meet, Effingham's 4X200 meter relay team finished 31st and the 4X400 meter relay team finished 45th.

In the 8th Grade Girls meet, Miranda Fox of Effingham finished ninth in 1:01.38 in the 400 meter dash and 40th in the long jump, Kiyah Kuhlman of Effingham finished 24th in the prelims in the 100 meter hurdles, Abigayle Weis of Effingham finished 26th in the 1600 meter run, and Alison Russell of Jasper County finished 34th in the shot put. Kiyah Kuhlman also finished 37th in the 200 meter dash, and Effingham's 4X200 meter relay team finished sixth in 1:52.23 while the 4X400 meter relay team finished second in the state in 4:15.50.
