Class A Junior High Athletes Headed To State Track Meets

St. Anthony Grade School athletes will compete in the state track meet at EastSide Centre in East Peoria Friday and Saturday. EAST PEORIA -- The Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) will once again host its 2015 Class a State Track and Field Meet at Eastside Centre Friday and Saturday.
A combined 537 schools will compete in these events, bringing thousands of competitors and fans to the Peoria Area. This event is one of the largest meets of this type in the nation.
A parade of athletes will be held Friday and Saturday at 11:15 a.m. Competition will continuously run approximately noon-6:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is $8 for adults and high school students, $4 for senior citizens and kindergarten-eighth grade students. Parking is $5.
