Jamie Michl Earns All-Conference Honors

DECATUR -- The Millikin men’s and women’s track and field team turned in several outstanding performances at the 2015 CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championships held May 1-2 at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. The Millikin women were sixth in the team competition and the Big Blue men were seventh.

Millikin’s Jamie Michl (Newton, H.S.) was the CCIW champion in the women’s 800 meters winning in a time of 2:15.72.

The Women’s 4x400 relay turned in a school record breaking performance finishing in fourth place performance in 3:59.68. Earning All-Conference honors in the event were Ponstein, Uriah Walker (Lansing, Thornton Fractional South H.S.), Clark and Michl.
