Effingham Jr. High Boys at Greenville Invitational

GREENVILLE -- Effingham took second place in the Greenville Junior High School Boys Track Invitational.

Winning the meet was Triad with 97 points followed by Effingham 87, Greenville 54, Highland 49, Carlyle 26, Litchfield 13, Brownstown/St. Elmo 11 and Breese 2.

Effingham was a winner in the seventh-grade medley relay with a time of 1:56.5 minutes. The Mustangs also claimed the 800 relay in 1:47.

Ballman finished second in the hurdles in 16.5 seconds while Lee took second in the 100 in 11.8. The 1600 relay team finished second in 3:55.5 and the eighth-grade medley relay team also was second in 1:51.5.
