Hearts Compete at Winston Boys Track Invitational

EDWARDSVILLE -- Effingham High School competed in the Winston Brown Boys Track Invitational Saturday and finished last.

Cahokia won the meet with 184 points followed by Edwardsville 136, Plainfield North 119.5, O'Fallon 110, Collinsville 92, Chicago Heights Bloom 70, Troy Triad 45, Belleville East 37, Alton 31.5 and Effingham 18

Effingham's Sean Zerrusen captured third place in the 800 with a time of 1:57.10 minutes. Terrence Hill took fourth in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet. Alec Morrissey had a fourth place finish in the pole vault at 11 feet.
