EHS Competes At Belleville West Meet

BELLEVILLE -- Effingham High School competed in the Belleville West/Norm Armstrong Boys Track and Field Meet Saturday.

"What a beautiful day," said EHS Coach Terry Harbaugh. "Conditons were perfect for once. There was only one of our athletes that placed."

Sean Zerrusen picked up a third place finish in the 800 with a time of 1:58.79 minutes. Other athletes competing were:

Shot -- Ashton Blunt, 37-5 1/2

Discus -- Brendan Dawkins, 111-0

Long Jump -- Tristen Rhodes, 18-0; Kody Line, 17-8

Pole Vault -- Drew Vasquez, 11-9; Lucus Vasquez, 10-3

110 High Hurdles -- Collin Hecht, 15.93

100 -- Terrence Hill, 11.48; Zach Miller, 11.94

800 -- Patrick Siner, 2:12.91

3200 -- C.J. Schmidt, 11:29.45

400 -- Kolbee Baker, 55.53; Tyler Homann, 56.10

300 Low Hurdles -- 11. Collin Hecht, 41.26

1600 -- Jacob Donaldson, 4:52.81; Josh McCammon, 4:58.85

200 -- Terrence Hill, 23.74
