EHS Competes at Triad Lady Knights Invitational

Effingham High School was among the competitors at Friday's Triad Lady Knight Invitational.

Effingham finished ninth with 34 points.

Here's how the Hearts got their points:

Kelly Keitel got a point for a 7th place tie in the high jump, Hannah Taylor got two points for finishing seventh in the pole vault, Jantzen Michael earned five points for a fourth place finish in the discus throw, EHS got four points for a fifth place finish by Jami Swan, Hannah Pike, Kourtney Cordes and Alexis Monnet in the 4X800 meter relay, EHS got one point for an eighth place finish by Meghann Pruemer, Camryn Heuerman, Baileigh Longwell and Brianne Boggs in the 4X100 meter relay, Camryn Heuerman got three points for a sixth place finisih and Brianne Boggs got two points for a seventh place finish in the 100 meter hurdles, Shayna Phillips got five points for a fourth place finish in the 800 meter run, EHS got two points for a seventh place finish by Meghan Pruemer, Camryn Heuerman, Baileigh Longwell and Brianne Boggs in the 4X200 meter relay, Shayna Phillips got five points for a fourth place finish in the 400 meter dash, Camryn Heuerman got two points for a seventh place finish in the 300 meter hurdles, and EHS got two points for a seventh place finish by Avery Braunecker, Jami Swan, Hannah Taylor and Shayna Phillips in the 4X400 meter relay
