T-Town's Westendorf Sets Meet Record at Shelbyville Invitational

Central A&M won the 2015 Shelbyville Invitational Friday, although local girls posted some wins and set a record.
Here's the team rundown: Central A&M 95, Monticello 91, St. Teresa 63, Sullivan 52, Mt. Zion 42.5, Warrensburg-Latham 41, Clinton 36, Shelbyville 36, St. Anthony 27, Newton 26, Teutopolis 26, Williamsville 24.5
St. Anthony's Anna Sophia Keller won two events, taking the 800 in 2:19.96 and the 1600 in 5:06.29.
Newton won the 4X400 meter relay in 4:13.13.
Rachel Westendorf of Teutopolis won the pole vault, going 11 feet, which is a new meet record.
Also for the local squads: Elizabeth Falconburg got a point for St. Anthony with a sixth place finish in the 400, Shana Niebrugge finished sixth for one point for Teutopolis in the 800, Rachel Westendorf got a fifth for two points for Teutopolis in the 300 meter hurdles, Newton got four points for a fourth place finish in the 4x100 meter relay, Teutopolis got a point for a sixth place finish in the 4X200 meter relay, Teutopolis got six points for a third place finish in the 4X800 meter relay, Lauren Wessel got a fourth place tie worth two points for Teutopolis and Anna Hartke got one point for Teutopolis for that same fourth place tie, Kristin Slaughter got six points for St. Anthony for a third place finish and Hannah Bueker got one point for Teutopolis in the pole vault, Alex Haarman got four points for Newton for a fourth place finish in the long jump, and Michelle Schmidt got two points for Teutopolis for a fifth place in the triple jump.
