EHS Second in Triangular Girls Track Meet

Effingham played host to Salem and Mount Vernon in a girls triangular track meet Monday evening. Mount Vernon won with 101 points followed by Effingham 41 and Salem 40.

The Hearts had only one first place finish in the meet. Michael claimed the discus with a throw of 105 feet, 3 1/2 inches.

Mount Vernon captured 13 first place finishes in the meet.
