Brad Keck presented Tres Walk with a plaque for her dedication and support of the Neoga Booster Club. In addition to planning the Pork Cookout, Walk has helped for years supporting Frozen 5K participants with post run snacks in the kitchen at the elementary school.

The Neoga Booster Club Cookout was a success recently.

"Thanks to everyone who came out and bought sandwiches at our pork cookout," said Julie Williamson. "A special thank you goes out to Tres Walk who made the fundraiser possible. The Booster Club appreciates her help because we made $1,295 for our track.

"Also, we are grateful to the Neoga IGA for hosting our fundraiser and to Kohls, The Illinois Pork Producers and Cumberland Pork Producers for their cash donations."

Reeni Letizia won the door prize.
