Teutopolis Wins Paris Doubles Tennis Tourney

Teutopolis won the championship of the Paris Doubles Tournament.

PARIS -- Teutopolis High School claimed the championship of the Paris Doubles Tennis Tournament Saturday.

The Wooden Shoes tallied 155 followed by Flora 153, Paris 113, Robinson 111, Newton 84, Casey-Westfield 63, Mount Zion 56 and Charleston 49.

The THS girls tennis edged Flora by two points. At this tournament, teams earn a point for each game won throughout the day.

In individual flights, Lily Stortzum and Allie Ruholl were champions of the No. 2 doubles flight with 42 points.
 
Sami Habing and Avery Probst were champions of the No. 4 doubles flight, also with 42 points.
 
Anna Probst and Adi Davidson placed second in the No. 1 doubles flight with 37 points.
 
Katelyn Frese and Abbie Lee placed third in the No. 3 doubles flight with 34 points.
