C. Habing/J. Habing Fall Out Of State Tennis Tourney

Teutopolis High School's Colin Habing and Josh Habing came up with their second loss at the State Boys Tennis Tournament Friday to exit the meet.

The duo claimed three victories and suffered one loss in Thursday action.

Then in Friday fourth round consolation play, the T-town duo fought but fell to Jordan Beck and Eli Woodrome of Mascoutah, 6-7 (4), 6-3, (10-3).

The other duo still in the tournament were Manaye Mossman and Evan Mossman of Effingham St. Anthony.

The pair claimed three victories Friday before suffering a loss in the quarterfinals. They were to play Friday in the consolation quarterfinals at Rolling Meadows but no score has yet been reported due to rain in the area. If they lose, they will exit the tournament, but if they win they advance. Play will resume when the tennis courts are dry.
