Bulldogs Fifth At S.H. Griffin Tennis Tournament

The team of Manaye Mossman and Evan Mossman won the No. 1 doubles flight. The pair defeated a Champaign Centennial team, 8-1 then won over a Sacred Heart Griffin team 6-1, 6-1. They then defeated a duo from Greenville, 6-3, 6-1 and finished out with a victory over another Sacred Heart Griffin twosome, 6-3, 5-7, 10-3.
Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin tallied 32 points to win the team title followed by Jacksonville 25, Champaign Centennial 22, Greenville 16.5, St. Anthony 16, Rochester 9, Bloomington Central Catholic/Mendota 9 and Bunker Hill/SHG 2 5.
