Wooden Shoes defeated Greenville In Tennis Competition

GREENVILLE -- Teutopolis traveled to Greenville and picked up a 6-3 victory in high school tennis competition Monday.

The Wooden Shoes captured five of the six singles matches.

Kolten Tabbert was a winner at No. 1 with a 6-0, 6-4 victory. No. 2 went to Clint Habing, 6-4, 6-2.

Oliver Lee claimed the No. 3 spot, 7-5, 6-1. Will Lewis won at No. 5, 6-2, 6-2 and Noah Thompson fought off his challenger, 7-6 (3), 6-3.

In doubles play, C. Habing and Josh Habing won at the top spot, 6-1, 6-3.

No. 1 -- Kolten Tabbert (TT) defeated Andrew Martin (G), 6-0, 6-4

No. 2 -- Colin Habing (TT) defeated Ivan Powell (G), 6-4 6-2

No. 3 -- Oliver Lee (TT) defeated Carter Manhart (G), 7-5, 6-1

No. 4 -- Aidan Andris (G) defeated Carter Davidson (TT), 6-4 7-5

No. 5 -- Will Lewis (TT) defeated Tayshaun  Wells (G), 6-2, 6-2

No. 6 -- Noah Thompson (TT) defeated Camden Walker (G), 7-6 (3), 6-3

Doubles

No. 1 -- C. Habing-Josh Habing (TT) defeated Manhart-Andris (G), 6-1 6-3

No. 2 -- Martin-Powell (G) defeated Lee-Thompson (TT), 6-3, 7-6 (0)

No. 3 -- Wells-Walker (G) defeated Davidson-Myles Stortzum (TT), 6-4, 6-3
