St. Anthony Tennis Sectional Friday, Saturday

Area tennis fans will want to be out and about today and Saturday as Effingham St. Anthony High School plays host to a sectional.

School members of the field include Effingham, Effingham St. Anthony, Newton, Teutopolis, Casey-Westfield Co-op, Charleston, Flora, Olney and Robinson.

Friday's matches begin at 1 p.m. at Community and Evergreen parks and Effingham High School tennis courts.

The matches at Evergreen will be all singles through the quarterfinal except for two singles matches to be played at EHS. Doubles will be played at Community Park.

Finals are scheduled for Saturday at Community Parks beginning at 9 a.m.
