T-town Defeats C-W, Flora Downs EHS In Tennis

The Wooden Shoes swept through singles play. Kolten Tabbert blanked his opponent at No. 1, 6-0, 6-0. Colin Habing also had an easy time with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2

The rest of the way, the Wooden Shoes had to fight but came out the winners. Oliver Lee won at No. 3, 7-6 (6), 6-3 while Carter Davidson claimed No. 4, 7-6 (5), 6-2.

Myles Stortzum went 6-2, 6-7 (2), 10-5 at No. 5 to pull out the victory. Noah Thompson was a 7-6 (9), 6-0 winner at No. 6.

In doubles play, Tabbert and Habing combined to win, 6-0, 6-4 while Thompson and Paul Huber claimed a victory, 2-6, 7-5, 11-9.

The lone Casey-Westfield point came at No. 2 doubles as Avery Tutewiler and Jorge Crespo were winners, 6-2, 6-1.

Flora came calling and picked up a 6-3 win over Effingham Tuesday.

The Hearts captured two points in singles action. Evan Pryor was a winner at No. 3. Flora's Justin Pietz won the opener 6-0 but Pryor came back wth 6-1, 10-8 scores for the victory.

Cannon Bockhorn was the winner at No. 6 with a 6-2, 3-6, 10-6 victory.

The third and final point for the Hearts came at the No. 1 doubles. Thad Dillow and Blayne Pals combined to win, 6-0, 1-6, 10-4.
