Effingham fell to Richland County 8-1 in high school tennis competition Thursday.

The lone point for the Hearts came at  No. 6 singles as Kaitlyn Parker was a winner over Raley Inskeep, 6-4, 6-1.

Otherwise the Tigers swept the rest of the singles.

No. 1 -- Grayce Burgener (RC) defeated Madison Mapes (E), 6-2, 6-4

No. 2 -- Abigail Atwood (RC) defeated Aila Woomer (E), 6-2, 6-2

No. 3 -- McKenna Snider (RC) defeated Izzy Volpi (E), 6-0, 6-1

No. 4 -- Claire Uhl (RC) defeated Gracie Kroenlein (E), 6-3, 6-2

No. 5 -- Evie Potter (RC) defeaed Ella Seaman (E), 6-0, 6-0

No. 6 -- Kaitlyn Parker (E) defeated Raley Inskeep (RC), 6-4, 6-1

No. 1 -- Atwood-Burgener (RC) defeated Volpi-Woomer (E), 6-2, 4-6, 10-8

No. 2 -- Uhl-Potter (RC) defeated Mapes-Kroenlein (E), 6-2, 6-1

No. 3 -- Inskeep-Danielle Clodfelter (RC) defeated Seaman-Parker (E), 2-6, 7-6, 10-7
