Hearts Blank Trojans In Tennis Action

The Hearts easily handled the Trojans. Madison Mapes won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles followed by Aila Woomer winning 6-1, 6-0, Izzy Volpi taking a 6-2, 6-0 victory, Gracie Kroenlein going 6-1, 6-1, Ella Seaman nabbing 6-1, 6-0 wins and Kaitlyn Parker added to the sweep, 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles play, Volpi and Woomer combined at the top spot to win, 6-2, 6-1. Mapes and Kroenlein blanked their opponents, 6-0, 6-0. Seaman and Parker also were 6-0, 6-0 winners.

In a match from the weekend, Effingham also blanked O'Fallon, 9-0.

Mapes was a winner 6-3, 6-2 while Woomer won 6-1, 6-4. Volpi took 6-0, 6-1 victories and Kroenlein won 7-5, 6-1. Seaman went the closest against an opponent, winning 7-5, 4-6, 10-4. Parker finished out the singles sweep, 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles, Woomer and Kroenlein combined to win 8-3. Volpi and Mapes were 8-1 winners. Parker and Seaman finished the doubles 9-7.
