EHS, St. A, T-town, Newton Tennis Players To Compete At State

Effingham, St. Anthony, Newton and Teutopolis players will be competing at the State Tennis Tournament beginning Thursday.

The State Tourney is hosted by Arlington Heights Hersey High School and competition takes place at the area high schools around Arlington Heights.

Competing in singles will be Thad Dillow, a junior from Effingham High School, Manaye Mossman, a freshman from St. Anthony and Ben Street, a junior from Newton.

In doubles, St. Anthony's Aiden Tegeler, a junior, and Henry Kemme, a senior will compete along with T-town's Kolton Tabbert and Ethan Thoele, both sophomores.

The State Tourney will be held Thursday and Friday with qualfiying rounds for the finals that will be held Saturday.
