Mount Zion came to town and handed Effingham an 8-1 loss in high school tennis competition Wednesday.

The lone point for the Hearts came at the No. 1 singles spot as Thad Dillow defeated Lane Fehrenbacher, 6-2, 7-6 (4).

The Hearts will be back in action today at crosstown rival Effingham St. Anthony at 4 p.m.
