Teutopolis Finishes Seventh At Metamora Tennis Tourney

METAMORA -- Teutopolis High School finished seventh at the Metamora Tennis Tournament during the weekend.

In the No. 2 doubles, Ethan Thoele and Colin Habing defeated a Quincy duo, 7-6(5), 6-2 and won over a team from Metamora, 6-4, 6-1 before falling in the final set by 6-3, 6-0 counts.

Consolation -- Kabeer Ahuja (Carbondale) defeated Paul Niemerg, 6-1, 6-4

Consolation -- Gavin Wang (Quincy) defeated Paul Niemerg (TT), 6-1, 6-0

No. 2 Singles:

Quarterfinal -- Cameron Myers (Morton) defeated Carter Davidson (TT), 6-0, 6-0

Consolation -- Sebastian Cabrera (Ottawa) defeated Carter Davidson (TT), 6-1, 6-2

Quarterinal -- Nate Geurink-Griffin Hammond (Metamora) defeated Josh Habing-Kolten Tabbert (TT), 6-0, 6-2

Consolation -- Logan Goetsch-Daniel Reinhardt (Ottawa) defeated Josh Habin-Kolten Tabbert (TT), 6-3, 6-2
