EHS Blanks Shelbyville 9-0 In Tennis

Effingham High School blanked Shelbyville 9-0 in tennis competition Tuesday.

Dane Seiler held his opponent scoreless at the No. 4 spot, 6-0, 6-0. Preston Siner and Isaiah Rubin had the same 6-0, 6-1 victories at No. 3 and No. 5.

Thad Dillow was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at the top spot. Blayne Pals took 6-2, 6-2 sets for the win at No. 2. Evan Pryor took a 6-1, 6-0 victory to finish out at No. 6.

In doubles play, Dillow and Pals combined to win 6-2, 6-1 while Seiler and Rubin claimed a 6-3, 6-4 victory. Siner and Tyler Nohren combined for a 6-1, 6-0 win.
