Greenville came calling and picked up a 6-3 win over Effingham in tennis action Tuesday.

The three points for the Hearts came at No. 1 singles as Caroline Kull won, 6-0, 4-6, 10-2, No. 2 singles as Riley Arend won 6-0, 6-3 and at No. 2 doubles. Lydia Kull and Riley Seachrist combined to win, 6-1, 6-2.

"We had two solid wins tonight at the singles and even though we were behind 4-2 after the singles, I knew we still could pull it out sweeping doubles," said EHS Coach Erik Williamson. "It just didn't work out in our favor. The 1 and 3 doubles teams had close matches but fell short. We celebrate our two seniors on Thursday against a very tough Robinson team."
