EHS Eighth Out of 15 Teams at Springfield Tennis Invite

SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham girls tennis team competed at the Springfield Invitational Friday and Saturday, finishing eighth out of 15 teams with 29 points.

"The girls showed incredible grit and determination through the varying conditions between the two days of cool and cloudy Friday to a heat advisory Saturday.

"Every girl scored points for the team with wins in either doubles or singles or both. I'm looking forward to an amazing season with this very deep team," said EHS Coach Erik Williamson.
