Bulldogs Down Shelbyville in Tennis

Effingham St. Anthony High School blanked Shelbyville 7-0 in boys tennis competition Monday.

Noah Tegler claimed the No. 1 singles match with 6-2, 6-0 counts. Augustus Heal won at No. 2, 6-2, 6-1. Taking the No. 3 spot was Michael Kaldas with 6-1, 6-1 wins. Nick Goeckner won at No. 4, 6-1, 6-3 while Will Kabbes finished the sweep by winning, 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles play, Tegler and Heal combined to blank their opponents at No. 1, 6-0, 6-0. Goeckner and Kaldas won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-4.
