T-town Wins Own JV Tennis Tourney

Teutopolis captured its own junior varsity tennis tournament Saturday. The Wooden Shoes tallied 82 points followed by O'Fallon 77, Mount Zion 53, Effingham 44 and Greenville 14.
The T-town doubles team of Devin Sabo and Max Ruholl placed second in the No. 1 spot. The No. 2 team of Logan Waldhoff and Mitchel Deters took first. The No. 3 doubles team of Ludvig Landgren and Alex Deters also won.

No. 1 Doubles -- Devin Sabo-Max Ruholl, second, 22 points
Defeated Mount Zion, 7-2
Lost to Nick Beck/Brennen Bar (Effingham), 5-4
Defeated Greenville, 9-0
Lost to O'Fallon, 7-2
Finished second to team of Eric Upson/Zane Toner (O'Fallon) with 29.
