Robinson Edges Newton, 4-3

NEWTON -- Newton played host to Robinson and fell to the Maroons, 4-3 Monday in tennis action.

In singles play, Newton's Rebecca Mier-y-Leon was a winner 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. The Eagles also won at No. 2 as Kelsey Vahling downed her opponent 6-3, 6-2 and at No. 3 as Katelyn Michl won 6-1, 6-4.
