FLORA -- Effingham St. Anthony High School handed Flora a 7-2 tennis defeat Monday.
In singles play, Alec Niebrugge won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-3. Ian Harris took No. 4, 6-2, 6-2. Jeff Niebrugge was a winner at No. 5, 6-0, 6-2. Andy Saba claimed a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 6.
In doubles play, the Bulldogs swept. Jay Niebrugge and Jeff Niebrugge combined for the 6-4, 6-4 win. A. Niebrugge and Harris took the No. 2 spot, 6-1, 6-0. Saba and Donnovan Hammer finished out at No. 3, 6-0, 6-1.
The Bulldogs are now 9-2 on the season.
